CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY

Born half-Dutch, half-French, William Conners was an odd little boy. He disliked talking to strangers and often flat-out refused to on many occasions. Relatives urged his parents to have him tested for special needs, but they refused. William overheard these rather often topics about him being brought up, but would just silently observe from a distance.

In elementary school, William blossomed in his academics. He would never raise his hand or attempt to participate in class, but he would score 100 after 100 on every test he was handed. No one dared to talk to the smart kid; there were way too many rumors about him. The teachers were worried that all these incorrect rumors would trouble the young blonde, but when questioned, he just shrugged his shoulders and continued on with what he was doing.

It wasn't until his last year of elementary school did William experience his first sensation of fear. A girl who had been crushing on him walked straight up to the boy and kissed him on the lips. Needless to say, this shocked and scared the boy so much, he has since never gotten over it. William is still deathly terrified of girls today, and will faint if one talks for a lengthy amount of time due to his stress-levels being so ridiculously high. 

Well, all girls except his mother and little sister, Iliana scare him. The quiet girl was born just two years after him, and it wasn't long before the two began spending time together. Both were labeled as outcasts at a very young age, and bonded over that fact. as Iliana grew older, the two started using their high intelligence together. Instead of video games and toys, the brother and sister would spent countless hours on Sudoku puzzles and quizzing each other on trivia.

Middle School was a turning point for William. In junior high, there was a social pyramid one could climb to seize power and adoration of the other students. This peaked his interest more than anything, and he and Iliana began pouring all their extra time into researching this social phenomenon.

The more he learned, the more William became obsessed. Finally, he could be able to be the one who laughed at others, the one who had the others bowing as he walked past, the one who controlled the student body...How wondrous.

Middle school also gave birth to another massive fear William harbors: blood. He witnessed a fight break out in school, where the loser ended up with a broken nose. William freaked out at the sight of blood so badly, he vomited. So, in short, never be a blood-covered girl, or else William might just die of a heart attack.    

Starting his first day of High school, William became a new boy. He pierced his ears, hung out with different people, and tried to smile more (although he's basically given up on smiling by now). It wasn't long before William became one of the most popular boys in school.

Although he has now achieved popularity, William is still one of the smartest and aloff kids at school. He and Iliana write paper letters to each other now that he's enrolled at the academy, making sure that she's keeping up with their social-related research as well.   
      

SCHOOL

At school, everyone knows William. Be it as "The super smart weirdo", "The guy who's afraid of girls and blood", or "The popular dude,".

He hangs around people no one would ever guess would be a good match for him, such as the jocks and muscle-heads. He usual says nothing in their conversations, and just kind of sits there and watches, sometimes listening, sometimes with an earbud in his ear. Because of this, not many tend to try to talk to him, especially the girls. 

Many students feel jealous over William. How could someone like him be so popular? Because of this, William has just as many enemies as friends, if not more. The teachers, however, adore him. He excels at all subjects except for Gym, and dislikes when he has to do group projects. Although he treats all subjects equally, William does adore the study of the human mind more than anything.

Some teachers go as far as to give him special privileges, but he never requests for them, he is always just given them at any whim. This draws a smirk from him once and awhile, but nothing big. After all, for a power-hungry teen, what would be better than getting a little help?
