CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY

Keiichi was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan with his mother, Haku, and his father, Kai. Growing up, he had a perfect life. Living in the most wonderful city on the face of the earth, his parents appeared to be deeply in love with each other, and basically had no problem with life. Growing up, Haku made him take dance, piano, and singing lessons, much to Kai’s dismay. Keiichi enjoyed doing all of the things his mother had him do. To counteract what his mom was making Kei do, Kei’s dad signed him up for soccer and baseball. He loved doing sports just as much as doing dance, piano, and singing.

When he was 12 years old, his dad was driving him home from a baseball game, when they were hit head first by another car. Most of the damage was to the passenger side, where Keiichi was sitting. They were both rushed to the hospital shortly after the crash. Kai didn’t have any major injuries, just a few bruises, but Keiichi was in really critical condition. He had internal bleeding, and severe damage done to his right arm. They managed to save his life but they had no choice but to amputate his arm.

Kei’s parents had another child when he was 15. Shortly after Kei’s little brother Kyo was born, his parents split up. His father was caught cheating on his mother with one of his coworkers and got divorce within a few months after this event. Keiichi has rarely spoken to his father ever since this happened. Living at home with his mother Kei has two part time jobs to help with the finances, while maintaining good grades and being involved in his schools music programs.

Currently, Keiichi is in his 2nd year of High school. He has a grade point average of approximately 3.8, and is very content with that. He plays soccer, during his free time and is on his schools track team. When he plays sports, it allows him forget all his problems in the outside world. He is able to focus on the game, and solely on that. He is also in in the school choir and drama program, and is in the schools musical every year.

Without sports and music, Keiichi would not be able to get through life. To help support his mother and younger brother, Keiichi has two jobs. One of the jobs is at one of the numerous Coffee shops in the city. His other job is at a small, family-owned general store type store. The owners are this couple in their late sixties, and Keiichi is one of their head managers.

SCHOOL

Keiichi is a very serious person. True, he can be a little silly at time, but he tends to look at everything with a mature outlook. Sometimes, this can make people think that he's up-tight and doesn't know how or when to have fun. Yet Kei does know when to have fun. Just not the kind of "fun" most high schoolers think of (drinking, smoking, etc.)

He is willing to listen to anybody and offers sound advice when able. He is a great listener and knows just what to say and how to say it. His friends really appreciate this about him, because no matter what time of the day, Keiichi will be there to talk. He'll be glad to listen and help with anything you need. He has many friends because of this trait. But is seen as a wimp by some of those unsavory kids around school. He is a A+ student and takes his schooling very seriously.
