CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY

Just like her older brother William, Iliana was born observing the world around her. She was the toddler who would much rather sit on the swing and silently watch the other children run around than engage in their antics.  

Because her parents had already had a child who acted just the same, they encouraged the young Iliana to spend as much time with her older brother as she could. The two grew very close, but, while William liked to be alone, Iliana liked being around people. It wasn't because she wished to become friends with them, but instead because she was just plain curious.

Going to elementary school after William was tough. The teachers expected the young girl to be exactly like her brother, perfect at every test given and the next prodigy. However, that was not the case. Iliana would flat-out refuse to take tests, claiming them to be too much work. Due to this, her grades began to suffer.
 
This went on for a while until, one day, Iliana suddenly began taking her tests without question. In fact, she began to do every extra-credit assignment. When asked why, she merely replied, "William said my sign isn't lazy." She never said anything else on the subject.

When she got to Middle School, Iliana began to go back to her old ways, but not as bad. She stopped doing so much extra credit, and refused to get dressed for school, instead coming to school only in her pajamas. The teachers said nothing, as she was still working great and diligently. Unlike last time, the young girl said nothing about William telling her what to do and what not to.

Still, she adores her big brother. Even though she herself has no interest in being the most popular person in school, she helped tirelessly with his research. Often, she sent him to bed while she stayed up past midnight, gathering as much information as she could before collapsing of exhaustion. Iliana believes that William has no chance at maintaining his popularity, but still continues to cheer him on and do research for him anyway.

Iliana thrives on her closest friends and family giving her encouragement, which is why she always gives a cheer for others. She has no real drive to do anything, but being told that she's doing great and she'd super smart (etc, etc.). These sayings give her the drive to actually work hard. If she did not get so praised, she'd never do anything. If she gets insulted, she flat-out refuses to work and instead will start tearing up.     

Iliana is now in her final year of junior high. She has a few very close friends, who all lovingly call her "Mother". The nickname came about after her friends witnessed her threatening to send William to his room and to sleep after he innocently yawned.   
  

SCHOOL

Iliana is that odd girl at school that you either are scared of, or admire. 

You'd be frightened of her due to her seemingly "out-of'-touch"gaze and silent way of getting around. She often walks right up to complete strangers, asks them a question, nods when she gets an answer, and walks off without saying anything more. There have also been rumors of her and her brother having an illicit relationship, but Iliana only shakes her head when questioned. The ones who are scared of her are the popular girls, select teachers, and people who just don;t know her.

You'd admire her if you knew her scores on tests and knew the stress she was under to achieve grades to be on par with William (Even though she's not really stressed at all). She's overly emotional, yes, but she never lets her feelings get the best of her. Not to mention, she wears no make-up and has a flat chest, yet boys are drawn to her. the ones who admire her are the teachers, her best friends, and her upperclassmen who know William personally.
